A group of highly experienced enthusiastic divers came together with a common goal of safe faff free diving. Albeit a new club, Apollo Sub Aqua Club is both rich in experience and equipment.
Our club is run entirely by volunteers, who love to share their love of diving to new divers. We also welcome qualified divers to join us (whoever they trained with). We organise weekly diving trips to sites such as Strangford Lough, Rathlin Island and Donegal. Several times a year we organise weekend staycation trips to longer-range destinations such as Achill Island, Killary and the Aran Island.
Post pandemic, we will be back organising trips to our favourite international sites including, the Red Sea, Cyprus, Malta and Scapa Flow.
We are a mature club with a friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere. The club has members stretching from the Belfast to Dublin. We also have a decent level of equipment and have a great rigid inflatable boat which can be towed to any dive site in Ireland.
We are always happy to welcome new members, be they untrained novices, experienced divers or instructors – no matter who you have trained with. You will be made very welcome. We can offer full instruction from novice up to trimix rebreather diving.
